Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects over the years. These projects included British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
